Gill Whitman

Gill Whitman and his family live in Harbor Springs and enjoy it's small town charm and friendly atmosphere. They are well acquainted with the local residents as well as many in the resort community that call this area their second home. As a graduate of Petoskey High School and Central Michigan University, Gill has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major. He has also attended the Kendal College of Art and Design.

As a licensed Realtor since 1991, Gill has attained the designations of Associate Broker and Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI ). He is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Michigan Association of Realtors (MAR), and the Emmet Association of Realtors (EAR).  In 2009 Gill was honored with the award for "Realtor of the Year" by the Emmet Association Of Realtors.  He has served on the Board of Directors, and as an officer, of the Emmet Association of Realtors for more than fifteen years.

Gill is experienced in all areas of real estate including waterfront, condominiums, resort, residential, commercial properties and has worked with a builder/developer on many construction and development projects. In his free time, Gill likes to spend his free time with his family and enjoys both power boating and sailing and he can often be found on the ski hills durning the winter months.
