Stone Jug Properties, LLC, has developed a seventy acre parcel of land on Stone Jug Road, within the Lakeview School District, that will have thirty nine spacious lots available for families and business executives seeking high-end homes in a residential setting. The development, Stonegate provides easy access to surrounding areas and, for  the convenience of families with children, is located approximately one mile from the new state-of-the-art Lakeview High School that everyone is raving about. Stone Jug Properties, LLC broke ground in May and the construction of homes is expectedto commence during the summer 2007.

Stonegate has teamed with Newman construction, one of Battle Creek's premier custom-designed residential builders, as the exclusive  builder of homes within stonegate. Newman Construction specializes in custom built homes and has built many of Battle Creek's finest homes in the Goguac Lake and Minges Hills neighborhoods. Newman Construction has a reputation for quality, integrity and working closely with its clients to build the exact home they desire.

Many of the homes within Stonegate  will be designed by Visbeen Associates, Inc a world-renowned  architectural firm from Grand Rapids. Visbeen will research any architectural style one chooses and work closely with the homeowner to design and develop a plan to its full potential. They utilize a number of techniques to ensure that the design process is thorough and complete including the use of a Lifestyle Interview with the home owner which covers questions about every area of the home, from ergonomics to aesthetics. This process helps create a floor plan that exactly fits the family's needs and lifestyle, while integrating the architectural vocabulary desired to design a beautiful, functional home.
