Personal Statement

Originally from the Detroit area, Davids career started in 1975 as a professional firefighter with the City of Southfield. As he rose through the ranks, David received many professional designations and awards such as the prestigious Fire Inspector of the Year award from the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society-Michigan State University in 1998. In 1999, David became Inspector-in-Charge of Southfields fire investigation unit and served as liaison with the Oakland County Prosecutors office. Davids commitment to public service and the professional organization is well documented. Despite the often grim realities of his former occupation, David always maintains a strong sense of humor and a reputation of honesty and integrity. In May of 2003 David retired from the city of Southfield after 28 years of service. Having vacationed in northern Michigan for 30 years, David and his wife Vicki realized their dream of living in Harbor Springs-building a new home and moving in 2004. Vicki is a homemaker and gardener and is a member of several Harbor Springs organizations. When asked How do you like living in northern Michigan? David always states Its ten times better than I ever imagined. David now brings his commitment of service, honesty, and integrity to the real estate industry. Davids passion for living in northern Michigan, his product knowledge and sense of humor combine to make buying or selling real estate a pleasurable experience for both clients and customers alike.
